My experience as a clinician has led me to focus on working with and helping my clients with a tailored approach that combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapy models. I strive on bringing you to a point of becoming confident in your abilities to move forward by minimizing fear and leading you to tangible and realistic goals and outcomes.

 

I offer a mindful approach while bringing a balance of non-judgmental and empathic listening with a particular kind of directness that comes easily to me. I welcome clients who are willing to accept the challenges that come with participating in therapy and have the desire to work towards and make positive changes.

 I guide my clients with a focused approach highlighting on these steps:

DISCOVER - Identify your goals, beliefs, and layers of self.

RELEASE - Disconnect from negative beliefs and let go of destructive behaviors and thoughts associated with those beliefs.

PLAN - Find new coping strategies to stay ahead of challenging situations.

MOVE FORWARD - Implement and support your renewed self and healthier behaviors.

Personalized

Our first initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current mental health wellness. During these first sessions, I will ask a lot of questions in order to get to know you better and gather information about you and why you are seeking therapy. From there, we will work together on creating a personalized plan to fit your unique needs and therapeutic goals.

Targeted

Everyone has emotional pain points or “triggers” when it comes to achieving mental health wellness. I’ll work closely with you to help identify and overcome these triggers and ultimately lead you to tangible successes.

Integrative

Since achieving your mental health goals requires more than just meeting with me weekly, I’ll be guiding you toward other helpful practices such as mindfulness training, meditation, and journal writing to use as tools outside of therapy.
